Back behind the chair
After a year or so out of the salon I’m back at it again. I’m in the honeymoon phase it seems, because I’m really enjoying it and somehow all the crap that made me quit in the first place isn’t bothering me.
I’ve started this blog because I both love and hate the beauty industry and I think it’s important to critically explore all the ins and outs of something that effects nearly everyone.

I will attempt to be as un-lame as possible, considering the weighty nature of some of this crap, it’s easy to go overboard and get all preachy and irritating. The fact is, like most people out there I can’t be bothered to spend hours making myself up to the high standards the industry holds for us. This is my I’m the “lazy” stylist. I’m a proponent of intelligent beauty, ie: a good haircut isn’t going to make you look like Megan Fox, but it can help balance your facial features and enhance your natural beauty. In short, be smart, don’t buy into all the crap magazines and beauty industry feed you and make your own decision. Use what knowledge is out there to your advantage and have a damn good time doing it!
